Lets Get Sketchy

Hello everyone, it's another Monday and that means another sketch over at Lets Get Sketchy! I hope you all had a pleasant weekend.  Ours was a little rough still with the power going on and off, but I think it's on for good now...at least I hope!!  Here is the sketch:
 And here is my layout.  This photo is one of my all time faves of Zachary and Analise, I just love the way he is laughing and the happy and content look on her face, makes my heart happy.  The colors were not that great so I changed it to black and white in Photoshop and it looks much better.  I love to scrap in black and white, it makes choosing the papers and embellies so much easier...
I used AC Dear Lizzy on this one, always love everything that Liz comes out with and have to have it all!  Also a little My Minds Eye mixed in there, some washi tape.  I like how it all came together.

  1. I love how this came together for you also Laurie, the pop of red from the strip across the page and flower really make the other colors sing. Beautifully Done and it brings a smile to my face as always! xx

  5. The is gorgeous! I love how you worked with the sketch and used the black & white photo. The journaling card is just perfect for your layout! I agree.. it's easier to pick paper and embellies with a b&w photo!
